Help is on the way.............. I hope its not to late. Your method of cooking and the methods given in the other followup's are all great for chicken. HOWEVER, you all are missing the flavor adding spices (DRY RUB) BIG D and everyone else try this nice little recipe on the next batch of chicken. You can cook it however you like just be sure to coat it nicely with this rub. If you have any questions just let me know
SAMBOS SWEET HOT RUB
1/2 cup KOSHER SALT
1/2 cup FRESH GROUND BLACK PEPP
ER
1/2 cup PAPRIKA
1/2 cup BROWN SUGAR
mix all together then coat well - dont forget to put some in the cavity if you are doing a whole chicken
